Baracchi 2022 IGT Toscana Rosso ‘O’Lillo’
Tasting Note
The 2022 O’Lillo features an even split of 4 different grape varieites: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah, which are all vinified separately. The juice spends 20 days macerating with the skins. Following that, it ages for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and an additional 3 months in the bottle before being released. This results in a ruby red hue with delicate violet undertones. The aroma is fruity, dominated by cherry and blackcurrant scents. On the palate the fruit is backed up by hints of black pepper and tobacco. The wine is easy to enjoy, offering a fresh taste, full-bodied feel, and gentle tannins. It finish is fruit-forward and long
