Artadi is renowned for its red wines, but it also crafts a notable white wine: Viñas de Gain Blanco. This white wine from Artadi is vibrant and ageworthy, showcasing delicacy, subtlety, and minerality drawn from expertise in working with Viura grapes and the exceptional terroir near Sierra de Cantabria.
Similar to its red counterpart, Viñas de Gain Blanco is sourced from vineyards owned by the winery in Laguardia, situated between 450 and 700 meters above sea level on clay-calcareous soils. The viticulture practices prioritise environmental sustainability, and the winemaking process is meticulously executed. After fermenting in wood for 5 weeks, the wine ages on lees for 24 months, resulting in a vibrant and pure wine exuding fresh fruit aromas, hints of citrus, balsamic tones, toasty nuances, and subtle pastry notes. On the palate, it presents as fresh, fruity, and velvety, with lively acidity, great density and body, and a real elegance and length on the finish.
