“The straw-yellow 2015 Saumur Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg Coulée de St-Cyr is pure and intense on the nose, with super ripe and concentrated notes of mirabelles and green plums (gage) intermixed with grainy limestones, herbal and yeasty notes. Silky and elegant on the palate, this is an intense, highly refined and mineral Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg with an impressively persistent structure, mouthwatering salinity and a juicy but focused and pure finish. This is more tannic and perhaps concentrated in comparison to the extremely pure and fine 2014. In any case, this is another impressive Chenin Blanc from the Saumur appellation.” 94/100 The Wine Advocate
