A denser and richer nose than the Double Rye, which definitely shows more of the High West Pot Still rye spirit. Chunky apricot and orange with hints of menthol, cinnamon, leather, cocoa and slightly bitter spice. Like the Double Rye there is very little oak character and thus the purity of the rye is on full display.
Full and dense like the nose suggests. It shows a little more maturity than the Double Rye with apricot conserve, ginger and a subtle cocoa note. There’s a bit more oak vanilla and less bitter rye spice on the middle. Subtle rose petal spirit, cinnamon and brown sugar finish.
