Tasted: Jul 2024
A nose of aromatic, estery white fruit – apple, pear and subtly sweet red fruit. Lovely balance and freshness with developing chocolate, honey and earth.
The palate is soft and estery with subtle wood spice, chocolaty tannins and red fruit. The tannins do build on the middle along with the wood spices, but the juiciness of the fruit and malt offsets. Long with returning red fruit and spice. As per usual the balance is absolutely spot on!
