Re-Tasted: March 2016
The oily corn notes are noticeable first with hints of vanilla and slightly earthy rye. The botanicals are very subtle with juniper, cinnamon and liquorice.
The palate opens with the gentle rye spice, vanilla and sweet-ish corn. Lot’s of creamy spirit character with late hints of juniper, cinnamon, coriander powder and sweet liquorice.
Description
Triple distilled from a mash of Rye, Corn and malted barley. Made in the ‘new’ style thus it can contain no more than 15% malt. Re-distilled with the botanicals which include juniper and liquorice.
